Description
Eighteeth Helios 700 Wireless Intraoral Scanner
The Eighteeth Helios 700 is a next-generation wireless intraoral scanner developed to combine high scanning precision, fast image acquisition and cable-free clinical operation.
Its dedicated wireless connection removes the scanner cable between the handpiece and computer, giving clinicians greater freedom to move and reposition the scanner around the patient during digital impression procedures.
With 16 μm full-arch accuracy, 8 μm single-tooth accuracy, scanning at up to 30 frames per second, a 20 mm depth of field and 24-bit digital colour reproduction, the Helios 700 is designed for modern restorative, implant, orthodontic and general digital dental workflows.
Wireless Scanning Freedom
The Helios 700 uses a dedicated Wi-Fi connection for wireless data transmission.
This allows the scanner to be operated without the restrictions of a conventional scanner cable, helping improve freedom of movement during chairside scanning.
Wireless connectivity range: up to 6 m.
Dual-Battery System
The Helios 700 uses a high-capacity dual-battery system designed to support continuous clinical operation throughout the working day.
- 3300 mAh battery capacity
- Up to 100 minutes continuous scanning per battery
- Approximately 60+ typical cases per battery under manufacturer internal-study conditions
- 2 batteries
- Intelligent power-management system
- Sleep mode when docked
- Automatic wake-up when picked up
The two-battery arrangement allows one battery to support scanner operation while the second battery is available as a replacement.
High-Precision Digital Scanning
The Helios 700 combines a high-performance image sensor with Helios image-processing algorithms to provide detailed digital reproduction.
Scanning Performance
Full-Arch Accuracy: 16 μm
Single-Tooth Accuracy: 8 μm
Scanning Speed: 30 fps
Depth of Field: 20 mm
Scan Field: 16 × 14 mm (L)
Colour Reproduction: 24-bit digital colour
The 30 fps high frame rate is designed to provide smooth scanning while true-colour capture supports realistic reproduction of intraoral structures.
Calibration-Free Operation
The Helios 700 features automatic adaptive colour and precision calibration.
Precision calibration: Calibration-free
Colour calibration: Calibration-free
This removes the need for routine manual calibration procedures and helps simplify everyday scanner preparation.
Streamlined Wireless Design
The Helios 700 uses an integrated, streamlined handpiece designed for comfortable handling.
Scanner weight: approximately 225 g
Its wireless construction eliminates cable drag and allows greater flexibility when scanning from different positions around the patient.
Dual-Sided Detachable Scan Tips
The Helios 700 features detachable reusable scanning tips designed for convenient clinical operation.
Key tip features include:
- Dual-sided detachable design
- Smooth, edgeless shape
- Designed for comfortable scanning
- No scanning powder required
- No tip heating required
- Suitable for up to 100 high-temperature sterilisation cycles
Silent Fan Anti-Fogging
The Helios 700 incorporates a fan-based anti-fogging system designed to maintain a clear optical path during scanning.
The system is designed for quiet operation to support a comfortable clinical scanning experience.
Multifunction Buttons
Two independent multifunction buttons are integrated into the scanner handpiece.
The controls are designed to allow convenient one-click operation and reduce the need to repeatedly return to the computer during scanning.
Motion Control
Helios 700 supports motion-controlled model inspection.
The scanner handpiece can be used to rotate and inspect scanned 3D data, allowing the clinician to review the digital model directly through hand movements.
Helios Digital Workflow Functions
The Helios software platform provides a broad selection of tools for different digital dental workflows.
Functions include:
- Auto / Manual Bite
- Enhanced Implant Workflow
- Shining Mode
- Occlusion Analysis
- Intraoral Camera
- Undercut Detection
